In 2017, the Big 12 reduced the number of required visitor tickets from 4,000 to 3,000, so the home team can sell more season tickets. Big 12 fans don't travel very well. LSU got what normal Big 12 teams get. LSU will return the favor in 2020 in Baton Rouge.

Big 12 policy is apparently to alot 3000 tickets to visiting teams. Down from 4000 according to the interweb.

They will not. LSU will allot the same amount that they allot to other SEC teams. Question is, how many third party tickets will be purchased by Longhorn fans?

Something tells me it will be similar to UGA

I already know that LSU will return the favor next year. UT will get the exact number of tickets (3,000) that UT gave LSU. In addition, the UT tickets next year will be in the upper deck (like UT gave LSU). You can book it.

False, at least according to what were initially told. If LSU turns around and gives Texas 7,500 tickets in 2020, with any of them being located in the lower bowl, LSU fans should riot at the ticket office.

I don't see Woodward being any more generous with UT than they were with us,

Sorry, you will just have to believe me. Check my posts and sources. You can also validate it next year. My info comes from the "horse's mouth" as they say.

This has been discussed ad naseum, Woodward released a statement in which he said LSU next year will release the exact number of tickets that UT released to us.

The only question is will he reneg (a la Alleva), and will he give them crappy seats like they gave us.. the two tix i got thru TAF for the UT game are basically in the rafters , or where thee rafters would be if it had a dome.

It's true. FWIW. They're getting 3,000 in the East Upper.
