I was in the stadium for the game. They initially showed the foot out of bounds and they all lost their minds, but then they showed him reestablishing. None of them are football savvy enough to understand how the rule works. ...

Lets look at the numbers on this question:
1) It is hard to replace a Heisman QB
2) Best WR based on statistics is Jamar Chase, who will return, along with Terrace Marshall, and Thad Moss.
3) We have rotated several OL this year, so while we lose 2 we still will have plenty of experience return...

LSU penalties - 12 for 118 yards
Seems like a pretty evenly called game, albeit sloppy.
