I couldn't really get into the last album. Hopefully this one loses all the over-the-top vocal processing.

I don’t know where I rank it out of his 4, but after multiple listens I love it. He’s still batting 1.000.

Standouts:

Hey, Ma
Naeem
iMi
Faith

My travel plans for work fell through for next week, meaning that I'll be seeing the great Bon Iver in person on the 10th.

SEClint, if you'll be there I'll meet you at the Burgerville located on the 100 level concourse and we can engage in fisticuffs until a resolution to our ongoing feud has been achieved.

Cheers, mates

ETA: It's pretty depressing the post count re: Tool's new album versus Bon Iver and Lana Del Rey.

It's 3 out of the 4 for me. Except for 33 GOD, I actually hated the 22 A Million Album.

It was just too weird and I had to go to lyricfind to even understand what he was saying. I hate not being able to get the lyrics, especially after multiple listens. Hadnt been that disappointed in an album in a long time at that point.

This is at least back to a little bit of his old self but I actually like his stuff with Volcano Choir and Big Red machine more than I do the I,I.

Same. I like it more than 22, A Million, but not as much as self titled and For Emma.
