My tennis elbow is really starting to hinder my workouts.

Anybody dealt with this? How did you treat it?

You're welcome

Seriously, I cannot recommend the flexbar enough. Provided me with essentially immediate relief.

Tennis elbow fricking sucks. I haven’t been at 100% since last summer. Do not continue to power through it or you will just make things a lot worse.

I use wrist straps and compression at my elbows. Ice and voodoo floss after every workout and when it’s acting up. Self massage using a roller. I e used the theraband but never noticed improvement but it’s worth a try. I am back to where I can do about 70% of what I used to but definitely wonder at times if I’ll ever get back to full strength. This injury is a bitch and I’ve heard of it taking two years to get over for some.

Where was your pain exactly. I've had tendinitis in elbow from doing a lot of house work. But now i have something different. I had an awful case if norovirus (self-diagnosed but i really think it was) that gave me bizarre muscle pain from right side of neck all the way to elbow, for weeks. It's all gone except just above inside part of elbow bone. I'm not sure if it's realted to the previous pain, but i haven't really done anything to cause this. Drove camper cross country so that doesn't help, but i don't think that's it.

Anyway just curios re exact location of pain and am gonna order thr flexbar for sure. Can't hurt.

My body is susceptible to tendonitis as I grew very quickly as a college freshman. I've had the surgery for golfer's elbow (underneath the elbow) and now have some tennis elbow. I'm managing the tennis elbow as opposed to surgery. I wear a device called "Band-Aid" when I work out. No device or pain while golfing. Still with the Band-Aid device, I can feel the pain if I over exert myself.

Treatment includes ice, rest, and cortisone shots.

If you go the surgery route, it is not bad. I rehabbed at a PT facility, but then did exercises on my own 7 days a week for almost a year. I could hold a 25 lb dumbbell in my right hand and rotate it off the side of a table after my rehab stint. My right arm is still much stronger than my left due to the rehab. (I guess the jokes will come.)
