What's Plan A if AD wants to stay?

If AD walks into the meeting, admits that things look better and he feels he can bring a title to New Orleans, signs the supermax, what are the next moves the Pels will make outside of picking Zion?
I think you have to add as many 3 point shooters as possible. Try to offload Solo, sign Seth Curry, sign Niko, or trade for Beal.
What other 3 point shooters should we be looking at via FA/trade?
What other changes to the roster would we need to make?
Should Elfrid be apart of the picture going forward?

i don't think seth is leaving the west coast tbh with Steph and his family situated over there.

I think almost all of your attention has to be towards getting rid of corpses like Solo without giving up major assets, BUILDING DEPTH for godsakes, and finding 3 point shooters.

Try and go Hail Mary and get Kemba to sign. If not go for someone like Brogdon and then a 3 and D guy at SF

I agree, but you have to at least make the effort.
You also have to consider this a 2-3 year mini-rebuild IF AD signs the Supermax.

I would trade him.
He is unbelievably talented but not a leader.
If you want you team lead by Zion you need to trade AD.

I agree as well. What extent should we be willing to go to get rid of him before the season since fewer teams will be tanking early on? A 2nd? Two 2nds?

This doesnt make sense... So Zion can be the leader and AD can be All Star compliment. If AD doesnt want to be the leader now he doesnt have to... no need to trade him bc of that.

I would think Solo could be traded to Atlanta with some of those Washington 2nds for Bazemore if you wanted. Or swapping him for someone else like JR or Mahinmi for even less.
Could look for a three way with JR sending him to a team looking to cut salary, Solo to Cleveland, and we get whoever that third teams player is. Obviously some 2nds need to move.
Stretching him is beyond dumb unless it’s to sign a near max guy.

Did you see what happened to Boston this year.
It is a new NBA. Let Zion play the four. Get Tatum, Ingram, or Barrett in the trade to play the three and begin building a team that is young and can run.

To be fair, he stays healthy and he's staying. Issue is he's a crippled mess
