Any advantage of Apple TV over the other two? Does it do anything the others don’t?

less ads on home screens too right?

I'm pretty oblivious to ads, but I know a lot of people are wary of Roku's move into that space. Amazon does not care, and neither do I in general. At least they are honest about it and did it from the get go.

I have AppleTV and Fire tv and almost exclusively use the AppleTV. It just seems to work smoother plus the app lets me control volume so I don’t need anything except my phone.

I have all three and I find myself now using the Fire Cube more than ATV. I rarely use the Roku.

I have all 3 and prefer Apple TV. One feature I like is the Apple remote has a touchpad and when you pause a show you can just scroll the cursor forward or backwards with the touchpad.

You can also double click the home button on the remote and scroll easily to different apps

Fire TVs in every room and a TV with built in Fire outside.
The only time I use my Apple TV over Fire is when there are multiple games on the ESPN Networks. Apple TV offers the ability to watch multiple games at once (picture in picture). If Fire offers this I have not been able to find it... Plus the 4k screen saver on Apple burns through data. It caused me to go over my Cox data limit multiple times before I started unplugging it when not using it. Hasn't happened since and I stream everything. Don't know about Roku.

I have all three and we prefer the roku mainly because it’s 30 dollars. We got a free Apple TV due to a DTV now promotion. I absolutely despise the fire stick. I have to unplug it and plug it back in every time I turn the tv on

I have all 3 and I prefer Apple TV. Airplay is nice. I do like that there's no ads. But that's about it. I would only recommend Apple TV if you are going to use it as your main TV source. I use Apple TV to watch everything. It is too expensive to just use as a Netflix streaming device.

Why get any of these garbage models? The Shield TV is the best box on the planet and has been for years. If you want to go cheaper, there are several other options better than all three of the named models.

I have Apple TV and Roku. Never used Fire. Apple TV blows Roku out of the water on how it works. It is Apple quality through and through.

I do like Roku though. Ads don’t bother me.

I have all 3. Started as a huge Roku fan, but it was buggy on ESPN. Apple worked much better for that App.

Then I got the Firestick last year, and it is pretty much all I use now. Does great on ESPN as well as the other major stream sources. Granted, it is the newest of the bunch, but it was only $25 on sale.

The latest versions of Apple TV are much better than the old ones. Much better remotes. I also like the integration with all my Apple products especially using all my favorite photos as screen saver on the big screen
