You know what makes me really really sick? If Oklahoma had to count a fall, which isn't impossible being they had a fall on floor, they would have STILL won by .0125, assuming all other score stayed the same. I don't think there could have ever been a more upsetting loss than that so I will accept this ending.

It’s surprising to see Georgia, Alabama, and Florida all miss the finals. So used to seeing them near the top every year.

LSU will win one eventually but gymnastics is one of the hardest to break through. On top of the scoring being biased, they don’t like to see new blood win titles. It took forever for Florida and Oklahoma to break through after the same 5-6 teams won the title every year.

No offense, but I think you are wrong. I do feel there is judging bias, but I also feel this meet was very fair.

There is no one who loves our girls more than I do. They're the most special group of ladies. Oaklahoma is an incredibly talented team and their depth is amazing. They came loaded for bear and were not going to be denied. I feel I girls did everything in their power. But to say that everything was about judging tonight I think is unfair to a very talented Oklahoma teens. Our girls were amazing but they were beaten by a better scoring team tonight

It's some weird obsession this board has with not giving the other team respect or giving our team any blame... If we lose, it's always the refs, umps or judges. Can't ever be about a team being better than us.

Oklahoma was number one for a reason and it still does not take away the fact that judging was subpar. Go watch LSU’s vault/beam rotation and then go watch UCLA’s beam/OU’s vault and beam, especially those with the same start values. Extremely inconsistent. That is the issue. OU was cleaner on floor, but scoring has been an issue all season.

I am proud of the girls and the fight of this season, but do not pop in a thread and post about things that you admittedly know nothing about or disrespect DD and the job she did with this team. This team went from 1-3 in the SEC and looked horrible against Kentucky to not losing another meet until the Semifinal. That’s insane.

OU has a dynasty going like UConn WBKB and I hope we get a chance to get one in before DD calls it a career.

Happy Easter all.

Once I heard about improper recruiting inducements involving Some NCAA Tennis and Volleyball teams, I knew that no sport was as clean as they seem.

OU was better.
Just not 0.5 better.
That's what i'm calling ridiculous. When every routine is overscored that's what you get. A runaway win, when in reality it was neck and neck.

Old bump, but who cares.

For me, dont care that OU won. Losing to them on a good night, there's nothing wrong with that.

My thing is that it should have been much much much closer.

We flat out out performed them on the beam and they destroyed us points wise. Thats unforgivable on the judges part and obviously makes it worse as a fan.

And OU stuck a TON of landings, but they got no deductions for a number of the stuck landings they did. There were a number of their landings where their feet were 4 feet apart from one another. Yes they stuck the landing, but it was ugly.

They won, and they had a nice night. But they were given points when they didnt deserve them and punished LSU when they didnt deserve it. That changes it from a dogfight to a semi runaway.
