Anyone else interested in why LSU would bid against themselves?

Forde cracks me up. He glosses completely over the fact LSU and Wade, IF he was bidding for the player, was not bidding against himself.
He had an anger that was unjustified solely on Wade alone. It came across as pompous and hypocritical while intellectually dishonest.
So, I am led to believe that if Wade was bidding for a top 50 player he was doing so against himself?
Same with Zion, Ayton, D'souza, Brian Bowen, and any other player who wanted their services paid for. We are only at the tip.
Yet he and Vitale, and Jay Williams want to try and sell their low IQ listeners a lie----it was isolated and Wade is a devil and has to go.
All BS.

Go check out Dan Wolken’s Twitter from yesterday. Calls Wade a “Grifter.” You’d swear that Wade stole his girl.

When you have an agenda, sometimes logical thinking skills go out the window.

LSU bidding against LSU for someone nobody else was willing to pay? Proof Alleva was involved. Suspend him!

I'm with you. I've been saying the whole time, an offer with money is way stronger than one without. No need to doubt your offer at that point.

LSU was bidding against Kentucky for Smart.

LSU does not pay for clicks like Duke and UNC, UCLA, Kansas, Michigan St, yea we forgot about how they were caught up in it last year? We so soon to forget how Izzo tippie toed when confronted about Miles Bridges mom, and 5 basketball players accused of sexual abuse on his watch?
It is all about money. Simple notion, but big time results. LSU becoming a power, to the elite, doesn't bring the bacon. People aren't going to click on the article about LSU and their turnaround. It has to be cheating. Forget the fact both UCLA and Maryland have more draft picks as of today than we do, yet they suck. Forget the fact it takes more than talent to win. It was cheating.
I'd love to smack every one of them and stuff a bottle rocket in their anus before it goes off.

This morning on Sportscenter they had a whole thing about Will Wade and LSU winning the SEC “amid controversy”, the analyst all agreed with the suspension.
Literally the NEXT segment was the Arizona game and a clip of Sean Miller addressing the crowd, all the analyst agreed it was moving and it would be a shame if he had coached his last home game.
Hypocrisy, thy name is ESPN

We know for certain there was bidding going on for Ayton .
The bag man for Kansas said so under oath that he lost Ayton and apologized to Self and said he let him down .
Who THE frick did he lose that "recruiting" battle to?

If he had to bid for Smart it was definitely to beat somebody else’s.

I’m sure those situations do exist and I’m sure there are situations where a school is bidding against a school with no “bid”.

We talking about a 2 star player baw?
One if the highest 4 stars in Smart wasn't getting empty bids.
He was highly coveted, and his play proves that.
Parents were looking for a damn strong offer. Wade made that happen. Calipari, if ever confronted with anything, will play ignorance and say he doesn't condone it and whoever was doing the bidding won't be working for the Collegiate game ever again. He will sound like an angel of light.

As I've said before, this is why Wade holds all the cards and has far more power and leverage than is being assumed.

Yep, ask UMass and Memphis
