It could mean one of two things for people to renew tickets:
1. Knicks organization is hoping KD signs with them

They mean 2. because teams use other team's stars to sell tickets all the time... Every time the Pelicans stink they always would market "come see Kobe/Bron/Whoever"
1 is like a subliminal message though
