Carport home gym in SE Louisiana

I've changed jobs in the last year and have very limited time to get to the gym with the job and twin babies. I've been heavily researching home gyms and garage gyms.
My problem is I have very limited space inside my home and only have a carport. I've looked into the Rogue racks that fold and it appears to be my best option, the only thing is it would have to be in the carport. I have a storage closet that I could put weights, bars and a bench.
My only concern is how the rack and equipment would hold up to sela weather and humidity. Also working out when it's rainy and cold doesn't sound fun but it would be better than not getting a workout at all.
Is this a bad idea? Any advice from the fitness board veterans?

I would think the powder coated racks would be fine. You will probably need to keep some silicon spray at the moving parts. I workout at a box without heat or AC, it's not optimal but it is what it is. Get a couple big fans and just suck it up. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Anodized bar. You'd still want to lubricate the bearings. If you dont want the plates to rust up you can get bumper plates or iron ones with a rubberized or urethane coating.
If I had an outdoor gym around here some slapdick would steal it and try to sell it to a scrap dealer for a couple of hits of meth.

I live in Biloxi and have a Rogue Fold out wall rack for sale. It’s powder coated blue for $500.

you may want to look into this so that you don't have to worry about corrosion

Galvanized Titan
I have the powder coat version and love it
Train in heat or cold - Love it after the workout is done, little getting use to when you first start, but now when I go in a gym with heat or AC it just does not feel right

That looks good, I just need it to fold because I would still need to park my truck in the car port. Appreciate the recommendation.

TRX Suspension Trainer. Get one, learn it, and love it. You will still need/want a few pieces of equipment, but the TRX can kick your arse on every muscle group if you learn how to properly use one.
If it were me I would have the TRX, some nice adjustable dumbbells (if those exist, all the ones I've ever seen are garbage), a few kettle bells from the 20-50lb range, and possibly a bench/bar. I could even do without those last two if it came down to it. Between those pieces in my home and paying an occasional day pass at a nearby gym when life allows and I would be content.
