I can't believe how difficult it has been for MLB to run a successful franchise in the state of Florida. Sure, the Marlins have won two titles but the fans never really grew

I'm shocked Tampa and Oakland still have teams. Give one to Portland.

Portland and Montreal would make the most sense.

Again...Montreal does NOT make sense. They had a team once. What makes you think that French Canadians care about baseball?? If anything, if MLB were to go international, they will go to Latin America. San Juan or Mexico City. MLB already flirted with San Juan once before. They sold out all 40 games the played in Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Say whatever you want, but San Juan would support a MLB like no other city in America.

Move them to Portland.
MLS to Austin looks like it is not going to happen. Move them to Austin.

They really need to be in Orlando. A lot of tourists would go and attend games

They are not going to Puerto Rico. It’s too small and too poor. The entire island would be one of the smaller metro areas and would be easily the poorest and this was PRIOR to a major hurricane that devastated the island. The stadium is tiny comparatively. The island can’t support 81 games+concessions+merchandise year in year out. It’s not happening.

Sterling got shite on for being a terrible owner, and rightfully so, but Jeff Loria was the worst owner in sports.
