Can we get some love for Young Kim?

I’ve seen compilation after compilation of “first this and that” lists profiling minorities who were elected to office on Tuesday. And that’s great. But I’ve seen very few mention that California also sent the first Korean-American woman to Congress. Surely, she’s not being excluded because she’s a Republican is she? It would be far from the MSM to play politics when they are so genuinely concerned about minorities being represented, regardless of party, right?

“Pointing out” her victory during a broader reporting of all Congressional victories is not quite the same as a glowing recap specifically dedicated to minority victories (wherein she’s been excluded in most I’ve seen).
