Security going into the game

Not sure if this has been discussed, but the only bad part about yesterday was the new metal detectors everyone had to walk through that delayed entry by at least 30 minutes. The people told me this is a new SEC rule and will be enforced for every game next year and a few more this year. They need to try to improve efficiency of getting people into the stadium because that was miserable.

When has LSU improved efficiency getting in and out of Tiger Stadium. Just look at the parking disaster. More fans attended and tailgated 7-8 yrs ago and traffic is worse.

So much of campus is roped off it is pathetic.
Consequently, we get shoved into a few parking “containers” that make it abysmal getting off campus through the resulting bottlenecks, for the most part.
As far as the metal detectors, has there been a new problem in the stadiums necessitating this?

It was unreal
I literally was stuck in a herd of people for 10-12 minutes. Not in line for anything, just trying to walk to my gate. Shoulder to shoulder, not moving.
Took about 20 minutes to go from the old airplane to gate 11 (about the 35 on the east side)

We were in line almost 45 minutes. Got in the game late. Had no idea how terrible it was going to be

Damn, they don't even make the students do that.
Hell, they stopped even patting us down because it used to take +45min for us to get in the stadium

We didn't have to go through metal detectors. We entered a south endzone gate.

We entered in south end zone as well. It was terrible and finally got in about a minute before kickoff. I was told that they were using metal detectors in SE, but must have stopped a few minutes before kickoff because it was taking so long, which is why we didn’t see them.

We got to the stadium about an hour before kick off in anticipation of a shite show getting in. No lines. It was nuts
They moved them from the souht endzone his week. Pissed me off because I didn’t bring in my metal flask anticipating them.

I brought mine, but played dumb when it was detected and was waved in
