Not sure why people are saying this is fake news. First thing I saw this morning on my phone was an alert from Google news that players are kneeling again (Google news is hardly right-wing).

You may need a history lesson as to what freedoms are available to us in the US and why the founding fathers thought they were important enough to take care of at the onset of the founding of the country.
I may, but I don't think so. I think the players have every right to protest all they would like, as long as the NFL condones it. Hell, I wish the players would refuse to play completely, so that maybe the owners would come to their senses and fire every one of them. I might even watch a game if that were to happen.
quote:
I am not sure you understand what freedom is, nor do you seem to want to think outside your narrow little box.
I'm equally as unsure whether you know what freedom is, if you think the NFL is required to provide a platform for these players to protest. Inability to think outside my narrow little box notwithstanding.
quote:
No one is shitting on your country.
Well that's like your opinion man. Is it ok if I have my own, or is that more of the freedoms I don't understand?
quote:
The people that defend our freedoms have overwhelmingly said they support he rights of the players to do as they feel.
I said as much above. Is it still okay that I think they are pieces of shite, using their platform to shite on the very country and people who provide them that platform? Is it okay that I withhold support for the NFL as long as they do so, and the NFL allows it to happen? Is it okay if I continue to do so, even if the NFL stops the bullshite, and fires all the protesters? I thought so.
quote:
So you boycott Nike, Budweiser, Miller, Coke, and every other sponsor of the NFL in every city, in every stadium? I bet you dont. I also bet you will say that you do.
I don't know wth you are talking about in every city, in every stadium, but no I don't buy any of their shite. Nor would I knowingly buy any product that sponsors and supports the NFL. The NFL isn't special in that regard. I am very particular with the companies I support with my money. If everyone did so, we would live in a better country, and abominations like Hollywood wouldn't exist.
quote:
And what does it matter how much money they make?
Only to the extent that were conditions in their bullshite narrative anywhere close to accurate, they would never be afforded the opportunity to earn the kind of money they earn. If Americans are racist to the point of accepting the wanton killing of black people by the police, they wouldn't really accept them in their living room every Sunday. Which makes bullshite of the entire reason for the protest. Which makes those with brains think that the real reason for the protest is just the continuance of the tried and true race-baiting and fomenting of racial strife, that socialist democrats have used to keep black people on the plantation, just like they have done since this country began.

That's exactly what they were doing. How is that your time?
It's my time because I either BUY a TICKET or pay to watch the game. The players don't own the NFL, the OWNERS DO.
Players are nothing more than athletic minstrels. They are paid to entertain. Nothing more.

makes me so ashamed that this is happening. you don't protest on the job unless you want to be fired.
