Looks like he finally found him a job on Jimbos staff.

He and A&M are kind of made for each other.

Is he sick? He just looks like he overcame cancer in every picture I’ve seen.

And then he burned almost every bridge he had in the SEC except from the one school dumb enough to take him.

Always felt he was a glorified admin. assistant.

It's not like LSU fired him. This dude was a snake in the end here.

I hope he didn't take his innovative three color folder technique with him to A&M.

I bet they were wowed by his deft use of the p-touch labeler.

You'll hear it a lot for the next 1-10 months he's employed at A&M

He went from LSU to Tenn to Ole Miss to A&M in the span of about 3 months. Give him ten and he will have been at every SEC school.

I’d take him back in a heartbeat.

More people on the payroll supporting Orgeron and this program the better.

Let’s hire fricking everyone.

Good old aTm. As long as they are around, current and/or former LSU employees will always have a fallback.

I like a lot of things before they completely change course and become disappointments. He's the Walking Dead of personnel directors.

He seems to have lost his damm mind in about a 4 month span. Before he was demanding AD level control and half a mil a year he was just landing multiple out of state five star players and running a highly organized scouting program.

How do you know he was demanding all of that?

Having the internet?

quote:

Feldman is dead on. The breakdown between Thomas and the Tennessee athletic department was do to a misunderstanding of what Thomas’ role would be in the program. It came down to one word: “autonomy”. A to Z Sports has learned that Tennessee wanted Thomas to have a typical Director of Player Personnel role. It seems Thomas wanted to run the football program much like an NFL GM, getting autonomy in areas that Phil Fulmer and Jeremy Pruitt weren’t comfortable with giving up. Those areas could include staff hires and staff management, along with all player personnel responsibilities.

quote:

Ultimately, Fulmer didn’t want to give up all the decision making power that Thomas was seeking. It would also very likely have been a six-figure difference in pay from what the two parties were looking for.

It's kind of ironic Thomas has been at Tenn, USC and LSU - all three programs had some real fall offs talent wise during his tenure.

Say what you want about him, he was great at recruiting.

Was it a coincidence that the year he leaves we dropped out of the top 10 for the first time in years? We'll see.
