On the list so far is Second Line, Brieux Carre and Courtyard. I really wanted to hit Parleaux, but they're closed tomorrow. Any new microbreweries I should be looking for?

Urban south and wayward owl are good spots. Those two as well as courtyard and you are good to go

NOLA shows on their website they have their anniversary party brews on tap so I think we'll def make that a spot now. I'll look into Wayward Owl. Didn't care for their Clean Slate IPA, so it kinda made me sour to them.

Can't get enough of their red IPA. Last time we went we sat with the couple who own it (or maybe partly, not sure on that) and they were really nice to talk to. Guy invited me to go hang out during their brew days and was super chill. I just dig that patio they have too.

We went to Urban South last time and I wasn't very impressed by them. Their setup is nice, but I just found their beers to be average. I was used to drinking their architecture series stuff and holy roller prior to going and the beers they tap there just seemed meh.

While I wholeheartedly agree, you are about to have the US fanboi's attack you.

To the OP, I would sub Port Orleans for Second Line. Same level beer and better setup.

Wayward Owl can be hit and miss with their beers, but it is a cool place to hang for a beer or two.

Gordon Biersch actually has a couple in house local brews that are worth checking out. I admit I wasn't a fan, but checked them out after Busboy recommended and honestly it is a cool place and somewhere to enjoy the weather.

Avenue Pub on St Charles has the very best craft beer selection in the city. Located very close to The Courtyard.

I'd skip the breweries and go the dive bar route. New Orleans has great dive bars but very meh breweries. Start early at Erin Rose for happy hour with an Irish coffee.

When was this? They did a major rework of their base beer Holy Roller and a lot of their other beers have improved as well.

I don't see a lot of people complaining about Urban South these days.

Ive only hit up the brewery scene once in Nola, we went to Urban south, Nola and courtyard. Not a fan of NOLA but the otehrs were good.

That was when US still had finial on tap honestly one of the best days in my life.

This would be my list. Port Orleans is a cool spot with good food, but I think their beer sucks.

You could hit up parleaux (chromatic harmony ddh ipa) then walk around the corner to bacchanal for something different. They’ve got jucifer right now

ETA: nevermind just fully read your op and see it’s closed

We went on New Year's weekend so not too long ago. Recipe had long since changed I believe.

This is their tap list right now:

Radler
Cabana Boy IPA
Charming Wit
Charming Shandy
Holy Roller
Paradise Park
Delta Momma
Grapefruit Holy Roller

Aside from Cabana Boy which I haven't tried, that lineup is weak and not getting me through the doors. It was similar back when I went also.
