Since you asked nicely lol . . . Two days of fasting and sensory deprivation followed by a day long ritual where I ate and drank a variety of things and had my head incised. This was the Orisha religion in Trinidad. I’m not religious but I am an anthropologist. Sort of comes with the territory

Perhaps to some.
But I used to love—and actually still enjoy—watching Shaq shatter a back board or Errict Rhett break a touchdown and then throw up the Q. Hell, as a kid it made me want to be an Omega, and I was raised in WASP Alabama small town, about as white bread as they come.
