Alabama and New England football need to go away for about a 100 years

They have won enough to last two or three generations. At this point, what is the difference between 5 championships and 7 or 8? Have taken all fun out of football the last 10 years or so. I'm so numb.

Bama fans suffered for 25 years. Only won three conference championships between Bryant and Saban, everybody said they were a dead, irrelevant program, etc... It's not like the fans haven't gone through tough times. New England OTOH could frick off for eternity.

Most of the fan base don’t even really follow the NFL. Most of the rest are Saints or Falcons fans due to the proximity of the two cities to Alabama.
