LSU is very likely sitting behind MSU, as well. MSU can lock up that 4th bowl slot with wins over Arky and Ole Piss.

I don't see any bowl picking Moo State over LSU if LSU wins out.

Texas bowls suck. The weather can be iffy. The other attractions like Disney and so on make Florida better. It can snow in Dallas and or get freezing rain in January. People want to go where the weather will be nice for bowl games. That's Florida or California. Plus we're more likely to get a Big Ten team in Florida.

I seem to remember Florida though they "show" Michigan a few years back!

That definitely blew up in UF's face.

I like the idea of playing Michigan State given the Nick Saban connections and Dantonio used to be an assistant under Nick at MSU.

Dude. This is reaching.

I would love to witness LSU’s first contest ever against the Michigan Wolverines.

I still get pissed thinking about that '05 loss to Iowa on the last play of game with the devil as head coach.

Three db's and a wide open receiver.

As for location, Texas or Florida are fine since we recruit heavily in both states.

I don't understand why this matters. Don't know the timing of the dead periods or the rule, but I seriously doubt recruits go to bowl games unless they just happen to go on their own dime.

I went by conference record. That's how bowls pick or least used to. If there's no merit to records why would every team play the same amount of conference games?

Why do people want to play Michigan?

I would want Ohio State. Let's play the best available and see where we stand.
