When LSU played Alabama for the National Championship on 1/9, I got to see the Saints play the Lions in the playoffs in the Dome that same weekend.

I thought all that black and gold would turn into purple and gold. Man was i wrong. So many saints fans don’t care of flat out dislike LSU. It’s appalling.

If you're considering making the trip just a reminder that the Saints play the Bucs on New Years Eve in Tampa

I forget where I heard it from but apparently some former LSU players now play in the NFL and possibly even get substantial playing time as rookie linebacker for one of the teams playing in that game.

My last two trips to Florida for bowl games were miserable with rain (Penn State in Orlando) and (Iowa in Tampa),
yeah, but last year’s game in Orlando was glorious- weather and the outcome- it was a shame the LSU fans didn’t come out in force- although we did out number the Louisville fans by a little bit.

LSU gets the best fan support for bowls played in Dallas and Houston. Look at the 2011 Cotton and 2015 Texas Bowls. The bowl selection committee should look west toward Texas, and the Cotton wpuld be a reward if the Tigers can finish 9-3 (6-2).
