When Cal asks Jacob in the beginning, "Why are you doing this?", and Jacob responds, "Let's just say you remind me of someone.".....

Throughout the whole movie that never comes out. It never showed anything to imply Jacob was in Cal's shoes once and Jacob never really opened up or had a personality to lead you to why he helped out Cal.

Thoughts?

I dunno, but that scene where it all comes to a head is one of the best scenes in cinema history.

Severely underrated movie that doesn't get enough play. Carell at his best and the film that showed what Gosling and Stone are best at. They play the same characters in La La Land.

I've never been so pleasantly surprised by a twist.

It's truly hilarious. When they all decide to kick David Lindhagen's arse is fantastic.

I am pretty sure at some point in the movie he references his dad being left by his mother because his dad had given up or something along those lines.

One of the best twists of any movie I've ever seen. So great and is one of those very rewatchable movies for me
