Does anyone else find it almost impossible to drink coffee out of one of these type lids without leaving a drip down the cup that, if driving, will sometimes drip on your clothes?

I never have that problem with this type. Why can't they all be made like this?

Make sure the little puncture in the lid is fully open that way it will flow easier.

That gif almost made me spit coffee out of my mouth.

Well played, sir.

That first one sucks - most premium lids aren't that bad

In Europe the new premium lids are almost like a sippy cup - I felt like a homo wrapping my lips around that thing

That is an irrational fear I have, drinking from one of those cups. If i do, I always take the lid off

It's actually the cup seam that's the issue dumbass. Make sure it's on the opposite side of the cup from the lid opening.

Problem solved.

Agreed. I believe the coffee shop baristas intentionally place the seam facing the same direction as the lid opening just to be assholes.

Thanks for the tip. I've always just drank it the way they handed it to me.

In the future, though, it's ok to give advice without calling someone a dumbass.

Unless of course you are omniscient.
