These 5 LSU commitments have the most upside
Beware, it's a slideshow.....
1. Drake Davis
2. Andraez Williams
3. Rahssan Thornton
4. Caleb Roddy
5. Stephen Sullivan

Thornton is going to be a monster.

We've got so many guys with a lotttt of upside, hard to select just 5. But I do agree with Drake Davis being #1 on that list. Dude is a freak of nature and a rare athlete.
Greedy and Thornton would def be on my list as well.

Jimmy tossed out the Andre Johnson comp for Davis.
When I saw his junior highlights over the summer, I couldn't believe he wasn't getting more attention from other schools besides us and the Texas schools.

If he packs on some good muscle, I def could see him becoming an Andre Johnson type of player. Freak WR with the ball in his hands and a very physical player as well.

"Upside" is one of the most cliche terms in sports. So basically you're saying the guy isn't there yet, but he has potential to get there? What if Saivion Smith or Eric Monroe contribute as true freshman and are on their paths to become first round picks? Just because they aren't absolute freak athletes (height and weight included), does that mean they don't have upside?

I love Caleb Roddy. He has the frame to build the body of a pro athlete on. Plays mean too.

Anthony needs to be on the list.

Yeah. I'm not sure about upside, but Thornton is probably the most underrated.

I agree with this. All others have reached their more of their potential and are more college ready than these 5.

I agree that 'upside' is cliche, but think it's pretty fair with these 5 players, especially Davis.

This guy will be the greatest red zone threat ever at LSU. Imagine that fade route Harris threw to Chi in the red zone constantly, if Sullivan lines up at that position it will be automatic all year.

Wow Thornton reminds me a lot of Mingo

My 4
1a) Davis - was probably the 2nd best player on IMG the moment he stepped on the field and that's only because Patterson is so legit. This guy took one year off of American football in his most developmental high school year, and came back as a senior on a team of highly talented guys, and was phenomenal. Legit Julio Jones/Andre Johnson type of beast mode WR waiting in the wings
1b) White - as an LB his upside is through the roof. Hasn't tapped much of his potential at all into that position. I mean 6'0 250+ 4.5 something 40 that gives him all kinds of range as an LB prospect. If he stays at RB I'd take him off my top 4 for upside. He'd be a great RB for LSU, don't get me wrong, but it just feels like he could be special on defense IMO.
2) Anthony - speed of this guy is elite and will continue the tradition of fast LSU LBs. Once he packs on a bit of weight he'll be a dangerous pass rusher AND improved against the run.
3) Roddy - around 2 years younger than the other guys but competes with them just as well. Has the frame to be a monster DE in 2 years.
Thornton has been my favorite defensive recruit since he committed, but I don't think he has as much upside as the others. He is just extremely underrated IMO. He should be a top 5 LB and I see him competing for snaps early even though Divinity and Key will be ahead of him.

Fowler is probably the best lb in the country. That's my #1.

It still juices me up that we pulled Drake Davis. He was big on Ole Miss for a long time and we just showed up and wowed him right to Baton Rouge. Great job by the staff.

Agreed.
He's the most college ready LB commit we have right now. Kids gonna be a baller from Day 1. Gonna be big time.
