Must have been bad.

Sayreville Principal James Brown contacted Labbe last Wednesday night, telling him he had been informed by the borough police that there were "very strong allegations they were investigating about inappropriate conduct by players."
Labbe said he participated in a conference call on Thursday morning with borough Chief of Police John Zebrowski, who "indicated to me he was investigating allegations that were very, very serious. So much so that they needed to be turned over to the Middlesex County prosecutor."

Isn't football based on the premise of bullying?

I'm two towns from there. The story going around is that the seniors were making freshman stick their fingers and other things up their asses. Their defensive coordinator was also arrested at a seedy motel with a car full of steroids, though apparently they don't think it was connected to the players at all.

there's only 6 "powers" in NJ and that's not one of them

They're not Don Bosco or Bergen Catholic but they've had a pretty consistent past for a public school. "Power" might be too strong but they have multiple state titles in their recent history.

For a central Jersey public school, Sayreville is up there. Not a national power but definitely a local power. Went thru there last week twice on Rt 9.
