Who else thought this was great?
I
a lot throughout, but at the same time it's a pretty serious film. That's what I love about it.
Carrey really didn't have a large role and I just had a hard time believing that was him. It looked nothing like him.
Mother Russia was fricking brutal.
I am glad they left the door open for a third.

My wife's idea to see it but I enjoyed it pretty well.
Nicely paced, didn't suffer from too many heavy hitting stars.
Better than the first, I thought.

Really liked it. Aaron Johnson sucks IMO. Rest of the cast was awesome. Donald Faison

Mother Russia and the Mother fricker were the only good things about it. Hit-Girl kills like 6 people and only cusses like 10 times. Real disappointment, but that's par for the course for this year of disappointment after disappointment.

I hated the movie from start to finish
Mother frickers "arc typing" and Mother Russia were the only thing redeemable about the film.
On second thought Night Bitch wasn't bad on the eyes, and the scene about not killing the dog did have me rolling.

Just returned from seeing this film. My son and I really enjoyed this one although it was not as good as the first. Came away thinking that instead of "Kick-arse 2", it could have been titled "Kick-arse Lite"

Saw it, Johnson plays KA very well. Carrey was phenomenal in the movie, as was Mintz-Plasse.

It felt like a movie that tried to leave the quirky/humorous tone of the first one for the sake of being more serious with a life message.
Half in-half out.
It wasn't bad, but the identity crisis took a lot away from what I expected.

I enjoyed it, thought it was a pretty good follow up to the first. Was lacking a steal-the-show performance that the first had with Nick Cage.

I thought it was hilarious. Mclovin is money. I just hate that a little girl can beat grown men. Its too unrealistic.

I seriously doubt there will be a third. The first Kick-arse did poorly at the box office and only garnered a sequel due to its DVD sales. Kick-arse 2 did even worse at the box office with a much higher budget so it is very unlikely we will see a Kick-arse 3 anytime soon.

I literally just finished watching it 5 minutes ago. I thought it was really good. Had its funny and serious points but I did like it. I find it wasnt as good as the first but it was still cool. I wonder if that was a Real setup for a third film in the end.

I thought it was better than the first and I know I'm in the minority. Mintz-Plasse stole every scene he was in. The Friends Forever league or whatever was kinda lame, but I enjoyed seeing Hit Girl try to transition to a regular life. When she came back, I was into her more as a super hero than any point in the first one.
And as others has said Mother Russia was bad arse.
I'm interested to see how it ends.
