FXX and direct tv

Anyone have info on whats gonna happen? I know its taking over the soccer channel on like 619 or something but I currently dont catch that station. Are DTV and FX really going to shut out customers from watching some of their best shows or will it become available to all? It officially changes from soccer to Fxx in early september.

Fox soccer channel will be FXX. if you have the 205+ channel package you're good.

yes. They are trying to position fx as movies and serious dramas only? I dont get it. And I will be pissed if i dont get the channel.

Yes. They think they can make FX like TNT and FXX like TBS.
Part of the reason I prefer FX over those two channels is it has a variety of comedy and drama.

at least TBS was on basic cable when they did the rebranding. They're about to lose millions of homes with this move

How about Dish are we getting this? I also don't really understand this move. If you own a movie channel funnel the movies therre and let FX be origianl programing. I understand wanting to grow your brand and charge more for ads over three networks...so I guess I do understand the move.

If it doesn't come in my current package, I'm not paying to get it... The only thing going over there that I somewhat consistently watch is Always Sunny.
