It's been reported
I read it in the Advocate, so it's official
Oden will look like a bitch if he goes to the Heat or Spurs. I believe he might be worried about becoming a role player or never really impacting either team. The perception of being a major contributor and helping carrying a team to the playoffs would be more appealing to me personally. I believe the Pelicans have the advantage. Oden's worried about the perception (fact) of being injury prone and proving himself. He will get overshadowed in Miami or SA IMV.

It's Mickey Loomis that is running the team he's probably telling Dell and Monty to not reveal too much news like the saints do

not quite. Does he oversee the gm operations? Yes. But, beyond that, he has no idea what NBA talent is and who can/will contribute to this team for the right price.
