Remember that road wins count more in the RPI this year per Baseball America

If so, LSU may need to start adding one non conference road series per year, with that said the SEC season will still carry the weight of the RPI for LSU, only problem is the year you struggle in SEC that RPI non conf could be the difference like it was back in 2011 even though LSU swept Fullerton at home.

This team will not make Omaha with Javi as hitting coach.

Why you worried about RPI?

Isn't this season a wash since we lost one game to BYU?

this change has been known for almost 2 years. nothing new here. LSU is going to schedule its home games to pay for the stadium. the SEC schedule will take care of the RPI

I stand by my statement and will come back and eat crow in June.
I hope they make it but there are concerns that are pretty obvious both offensively and pitching wise. There are true fr hitting in key spots and the left side of infield has yet to be really tested. It's early!
They have till State series to fix it, that will be hardest series of the year win, lose or draw.

This, if LSU handles their business, RPI shouldn't be a factor.

They've only got 49 more games to get it right. Season's almost over.

BYU is going to be loving their win on the road to a top 20 RPI team.

What kind of tests do you want to put the left side of the infield through? I don't believe they have made an error through 7 games. Must not be good enough.

Earlier in the SEC rant he said if you win the SEC baseball tourney, you should host a regional. I guess he forgot Miss St last season and us in 2010.
