Magazines for Ruger SR9

Does anyone know of any aftermarket brands or is Ruger the only one that makes mags for this gun? I bought a SR9c last month and I've been trying to buy some mags for it but the only ones I can find are Ruger brand and they are running $40-50 (which is the same price that Ruger sells them for directly when in stock).

I got the ruger mags, $30 each. That was two months ago.

the SR9 doesn't use the same mags as the P-series if that's the ones you are referring to.

There are no known after market magazines for Ruger Sr9. Which one are you looking for the 17 round or the 10 round.

Would prefer the 17 but would take the 10 (either the short or long since I have the adapter sleeve).

Do you have the SR9 or SR9C?
I have the SR9C. I have one 10 round and five 17 round ones. I don't use the adapter sleave. Just act like I'm shooting with the 10 round mag all the time.

SR9c
Doesn't leaving the sleeve off make it sit oddly in your hand? I'm really just looking for extras to bring to the range so I don't have to keep reloading mags. So 10 or 17 doesn't really matter to me.

Just pretend that you have a 10 round mag in. I grip the same no matter what mag I have. My bottom finger doesn't touch anything even with a 17 rounder in. I figure if I ever carry it I will use the 10 round mag so best to practice that way.

I have an SR9c as well. Love the gun.
I have the 17 round mag with the sleeve that came with it, plus I bought two extra 17 rounders. Although it sits out a bit far, the 17 rounders have yet to fail without the sleeve on them.

You shot 400 rounds of 9mm in these political times?
Hope it was worth it. I bet it was though.

If we don't go shoot they win already

I'm so itching to buy a gun. That SR9 looks cool.

I'm happy with my SR9C. But this is the first semi-auto I've had so nothing to compare to. Looks to be reliable so far.

after getting a tip from a coworker, I just ordered two 10-round mags here
Impact Guns
Decent price. Hopefully they don't take too long to ship an "in stock" item.

The Ruger SR series is one of the best values on the market in my opinion. It comes in 3 full sized flavors - SR9, SR40, SR45.
I hope they release an SR357 soon. Or if a company comes out with a barrel for it.
