I have to go with Tommy Hodson regarding the position he played. Running backs always impact a team greatly with an average or below average QB.

But Hodson as freshmen played the most difficult position on the field. He wins in my opinion handsdown. Hilliard had Garry James as a running mate.

Which made his stats even more impressive. James came in as the bluechip recruit and Dalton flat beat him out for the starting position. Make Dalton the full-time back and his numbers would have been ridiculous.
