They still serve a quality meal? It's been a while since my last visit.

Yes
It's still one of my favorites and one of the best meals around.

The only thing I was disappointed in was the hand full of guys wearing baseball caps, the last few times I've been.

I know this is a free country, and I'm wearing a cap 87% of the time you see me, but not to La Lagniappe

i cant stand when people wear hats indoors, let alone a restaurant.

I feel the same way. It really bothers people of my father's generation. It drives my dad crazy.

No, it bothers me too. Of course, I AM old.

You just have class, which is ageless.

I went Thursday. Consistent as usual from past experiences.

I enjoy the place. The portions are large, so I've learned to split plates and apps and I fund it more suiting and a fair price per portion.

It is still one of my BR favorites but 4 of us tried to go on a Thursday night a couple of weeks ago and were told the wait was 90 minutes. Sorry, no place is worth that kind of wait. Went to J Alexanders instead and were disappointed

I loved to get the oyster appetizer and lobster bisque when available. I was underwhelmed by the overall flavor of the fish dishes the three times I've gone. The fish is consistently overcooked. I haven't been back in over a year and really have no plans to try it again.

This........took my aunt and uncle there who were in from out of town, was not impressed. It was great the few times I had been prior to that.

Bonus points if they were wearing a camouflage baseball cap, or if it has a large fish hook poked through it.
I guess it's ok as long as their finest bluejeans are ironed...

Last time I went about a month ago it wasn't that good at all. Our fish was way overcooked.
