Look at the timing of this leak. Could it be something else entirely? Tags just held his bounty gate hearings, maybe Benson is trying to tell the league he's had enough and they need to stop screwing with his business.
It's probably just posturing during Payton renegotiations telling Jerry Jones to back off, but the timing is odd considering the bounty hearings. Maybe Benson got a 2 for 1 leak, stay away from my coach and my players.
