has a conference ever gotten 4 national seeds? I know the SEC has gotten 3, last year being the latest.

I really doubt it. I actually think last year might have been the first year they've ever allowed 3 from the same conference. I'm pretty sure four is unheard of.

The fact that UF has lost 3 SEC series so far and they've all been to the West adds to the credibility of the West's strength and in turn, its champion getting a National Seed, IMO(assuming Florida's arse continues to get sucked at the end of the season).

probably best to root for either UK or Florida to pull off a sweep this weekend. I'd hate for that LSU-USC series at the end of the year to weigh on who gets a national seed and who doesn't.
