If you think he cares one bit about what the fans think than you are retarded.

I agree. I would feel bad for Les for that reason. But I do think the tide turned and most of the fans now embrace him despite his blunders.

I am tired of some posters blaming the LSU fans for Les wanting to leave or interviewing for the little ten job.

WE ARE the BEST FANS in all of COLLEGE FOOTBALL. Other teams fear us. Sports Announcers spend a lot of time talking about us and giving us credit for the outcome of games.

I for one have been to a MICHIGAN Game at the Big House and I can tell you that their fans are NOTHING like us or ANY OTHER SEC school. They are passive and are worried about keeping up with the Joneses!

I do not want Les to leave but if he does then good luck and godspeed. HOWEVER, it isn't my fault OR ANY OTHER TIGER FANS FAULT.

We will find another coach and move on. Les will do good up there BUT will NOT contend for a BCS National Title.

The SEC has better talent and the market up there is flooded with schools. He will win off and on against Ohio St and beat Mich ST therefore the Michigan Faithful will be happy with that. They don't care about National Titles. The Holiday Bowl is fine every other year. If they get the Rose Bowl they are MORE than excited. When they lose they will blame the time zone difference!

Bottom line - LSU has THE BEST FANS IN AMERICA! I am proud to say that I BLEED Purple and Gold...(leaving soap box now)...lol

if you thing he wasn't a 14 men on the field, a lucky bounce, and a good game against Bama from possibly getting run this year you are retarded.

He may not care about fan giving him crap but the fans expectations effect his being employed.

I've put a lot of stock in the guy's integrity. He has every right to licitly game the system to procure the best situation for himself and his family, and I certainly don't begrudge him the opportunity to coach at his alma mater.

I just don't want to learn that he's been telling bald-faced lies.

After all the "I'm happy here" talk and the players' statements about how he assured them he's staying, I will be highly disappointed in the man if he goes.

and what does the fact that he's headed to meet with MI and his agent at this very moment tell you? Les could have easily said, I'm not interested in the MI coaching position. MI should remove me from the list of candidates, but he didn't.
