Let me interpret this for you:

LSUmomma is a grown adult woman, accomplished professional, capable of running her own home, and of speaking her own mind.
I do not need you putting words in my mouth, or skewing my thoughts for your own purposes.
My comments about Coach Miles's speaking do not stem from any hate I have for Saban. It is simply that without full knowledge of what every other Div. I coach says, or how they relate to the press, you are so ready to deem Miles the WORST. Your view of what Coach Miles says and how he says it seems to be tainted by your obvious dislike of the man. i.e. the quotes you put in this very thread that there's really nothing wrong with. And I didn't "make up" ridiculous comments to support my position. Saban had several "stupifying", and unclear quotes in the Birmingham paper following the Fla. game. And that only supported my opinion that ALL coaches are not eloquent.

les miles is not a good public speaker.
I didn't say that Les Miles needed to be a broadcaster, I simply said that he's no different when it comes to speaking to the press than a lot of other coaches
Why do you think he's so much worse than others? They all put their foot in their mouths, and ramble aimlessly at times!

Tech runs the ball greater than 4 times as they pass (600 runs vs 140 pass attempts). They complete just 47% of passes, and have thrown just 5 TD's and had 6 picked off. Obviously, the focus will be on the run, so the linebackers will be kept busy filling holes. I wouldn't too much about the pass.

Doesn't this statement just give you tons of confidence that we will be able to stop Ga. Tech in two weeks.

However, Tech averages 8.1 yards per pass ATTEMPT, which is #21 in the nation. LSU is #71 at 6.7 ypa. So, while we rarely pass, and complete rarely, our average is very high. We throw deep, when we hit, we hit big.
Edit: 14 of 140 attempts have gone for a 25+ yard gain. By comparison 22 of 364 LSU pass attempts have gone for a 25+ yard gain.

Paul Johnson has already started to work on the elements of his run and shoot offense, which he will implement for the bowl game. Stopping the run will not be the only concern for the LSU defense.

I still think he will run the option first and foremost. Don't expect drastic changes from what they've done all year. That said, I believe his statement is meant more to give LSU something else to prepare for, than actually following through as part of his play calling. Let's see if the greater than 4:1 ratio of run to pass holds true.

I am thinking he may pass more than usual because he knows that he torch the LSU defense.

I believe they take full advantage when a team overloads the box, and leaves the too much open. Discipline will be the key. I think we can stop the triple option with help from our linebackers, without exposing too much on the pass.

Yep, that is what happened in the Duke game. They sold out to stop the run and we threw for 230 yards in that game. Still only 9 completed passes, but by far the biggest passing day of the year.
