Playoff Rooting Intrests

I am wondering what team the Fanbase is pulling for in the playoff this year. I and my family are rooting for Joe Burrow and the Bengals. We are rooting for the Eagels too but not Jalen Hurts for obvius reasons.
That is personal though.
Who do we want to lose now for the best next season possible? Especally now that Tompa Bay (ha ha) is out of the round.

I think 99% of Louisiana is going for the Bengals. Personally I'm hoping the 49ers go all the way. I was always a fan of the Shanahans, first Mike and now Kyle, and Purdy's play has definitely piqued my interest.

I’ll probably never cheer against Joe Burrow, but the AFC is pretty likeable.
I like Mahomes, I like the Bills and their fans are great. Burrow and Chance in Cincy.
Anyone but the jags I guess.
Definitly the 49ers out of the NFC. If the eagles win a Super Bowl and get the Saint’s pick it will be brutal.

Non Saints related… but I’m pulling for the winner of the Bengals Bills game after this weekend.
I hate pretty much all the other teams.

Saints fans should be pulling for the 49ers to lose. If Payton goes to Denver, the sooner they lose the better the draft pick.
The indirect affect is whatever weekend they lose, you will want KC, Philly & Buff to also lose to push that draft pick a little further down.
As it stands, any team still in the playoffs will be picking between 24-31. If the favorites move on, then SF will lose to Dallas and will be picking 27th. But, if KC, Philly & Buff also all lose this weekend, that SF pick that Denver holds will now be 24th

Honest question, for older people who have relatives that were NFL fans before the saints existed and defaulted to the cowboys because of the relative closeness, why do you have so much distain for them?
Not a cowboys fan, had a hard time pulling for them even though they were playing the BUCS. Just curious

Possibly that’s more prevalent in NW Louisiana?
I know of a few older locals who adopted fandom in the Steelers in the ‘70s since the Saints sucked then and have stayed with Pittsburgh.

I put a $100 on chiefs to win SB 2 weeks ago, so chiefs

I have never had people tell me that's why they liked the cowboys but I've known people who grew up as fans before the saints. Then the cowboys became their 2nd team.
Don't know about the northwest thing, I'm northeast but Shreveport area in general sucks lol.
I'm just curious about the hatred for them. I'm saints thru and thru but the only teams I really have a hatred for are division rivals, rams and niners

I grew up being a Cowboys fan when I was 8 years old. I was elated when Dallas beat Denver in the SB and cried on my bed when Montana and Dwight Clark ended the cowboys reign. I loved Tom Landry and Tony Dorsett and Too Tall Ed Jones.
However !!! When Smug Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys around 1988 and fired Tom Landry, I said “F- it.”. I started to root against Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones. I hate the cowboys now.

I assume Terry Bradshaw was a big part of that.
They also had Louis Lipps in the 1980s and the 504 Boyz in their last Super Bowl.
