Tried to read The Book of Accidents, but it's hot garbage. Characters are completely uninteresting and the story sucks.
He also has his characters blurt out woke/left talking points every couple pages even though it has nothing to do with the story. It just pulls you right out of the shitty world he's trying to create.
Closing this book on page 160.

Meh. The third one explains a bit of the rise of the first order. Also the importance of Jakku.
One or two of the primary characters are gay, but it isn't in your face all the time.

I never read them—even though I was reading some of the new Disney expanded shite back when they were coming out—but I do know he used—em dashes—a lot.
Does he write like that in all his stuff?
