Earlier I said East St Louis but I just remembered the Tenderloin in San Francisco. That’s unequivocally the worst place I’ve ever found myself. Newark NJ and Jackson MS get honorable mention.

I worked in Philadelphia for several months. So many folks who live there are miserable jerks. Maybe it was just a yankee or big city thing.
