You can’t convince me that the powers that be didn’t get together and decide to ruin everything for common people starting in 2020.

It’s too much gone wrong at the same time to not be planned.

Oddly enough, my kids unknowingly said this yesterday. We live outside of Denver, we watched every Avalanche playoff game. Really exciting they won.

me: I wouldn't mind going to parade but I cant take the day off. but none of you have anything to do today

wife: I don't want to deal with traffic but maybe

kids: i don't think it will be better than the LSU parade in early 2020

I hate to break it to you but not only is that a meaningless, self-serving narrative, but "we" didn't do anything. You and I were just watching.

Im sure I’ll see LSU win another title in my lifetime. Nothing will touch the euphoric high I got from that season. So many great games, so many great players, and a perfect 15-0 record with a title at home.

2019 was great. Everything else has been a shite show.

I was talking to my dad about this same thing last night. We completely agree. Both of us will still support LSU and go to games but it will never be the same and it’s just tough to care about it as much as I used to now.

Agree, I went from attending every single football game home and away for 15 years, season ticket holders in two other sports to dumping them all after 2019 football season with no plans to go back.

LSU and it’s athletics department showed it’s true colors in 2020 and beyond.
