Bass Spawning in North LA

Had a buddy tell me they are pulling bass out of 2-3’ of water on D’arbonne. Water is in upper 50’s, I’m about to take some days off.

Not very good at all. Caught 4. Was trying a bunch of different things. I caught none shallow. Can't fish again until next weekend.

It is currently 38 with a winter weather threat this afternoon....

Well the bass are definitely on the beds down here. Yesterday a.m. water temp was 64 in most of the canals -- by 1:30 p.m. it was 74. Every bass I caught except for one was in about 12" of water.
I caught some last week that were so shallow they literally had mud on their bellies.

I caught a few at Hartwell last week that had mud on their bellies as well.
Only difference is they were in 51 ft of water
I swear the more I learn about this lake the less I know :
