bushes trimmed. We also need some small shrubs pulled out, but not that big of a deal.
I'm guessing its half a days work for three beds.
Front of house with one side having a wrap around.
$400 with the cost of mulch?

Get ready to be absolutely shocked by most of the quotes you get, if they’ll even do you a 1 off. Most will want you to get on some monthly plan with them.
If possible go buy the tools and diy or ask a neighborhood high school kid that’s looking to make some extra money

No just by rough estimating, I would say close to $1000 or more depending how big beds are. I work for a landscape company.

Even these guys have realized they need to up their prices, I tried to hire some to move dirt into a terrace I just had built and they came and looked at it and just said no and left
Ended up just doing it myself

Come on now. I would probably have to get out there and do it myself. I really swore off mulch after last Spring. I guess at those rates, I'd have to give it a go myself again.
God, I hate flowerbeds.

I do grass, and wife does the landscaping. my grass looks better than my beds. Between the two of you it should not be that big of a task.

I’ve been using a guy for a year now. He did the initial clean up for 3 beds at $400. Now he comes once a month and maintains them for $200.

I paid $1800 that included re mulch 60 bags. Had to move some plants and spray because the last guys brought in some type of Bermuda and was infested in one bed. Now $150 a month to keep it up.

Yah I pay almost double that just to have pine straw/mulch put down.
I do all the other stuff (trim/hedge/spray/etc).
I've watched those guys spend 6 hours putting it out, so money well spent in my book.
