Everyone is saying LSU is behind the curve in NIL and other programs are killing it. My question is how does anyone know? Other than rumor mill, is anyone actually tracking deals and how much is being spent by whom?

We have an inherently negative, panicky and insecure fanbase. It's in our blood.

The answer to the last part is no. That's what makes everyone so uneasy. This is just a bad year to be in a rebuild with this stuff going full force in its full first year. But it's all new and trendy. Things will calm down over time. If your money isn't winning a championship the money will get less. Let's not forget only 1 team of these many can actually win a championship. Gonna be hard to go back to the well every year without one of those.

Journalists have been reporting on this for several weeks. Lsu is behind.

Links?

The claims about Aggy big spending are sourced to message board. Other than individual player deals, who is reporting on the overall NIL picture with actual numbers and sourcing?

From what I've seen, it's all unattributed and it's amplified by panicky fans who feel like their school is missing the boat.

Exactly Ice. Is anyone out there compiling data on deals and reporting on it?

The people running the pay forums are reporting it and it's everywhere on them.

I dint have any links. The athletic ran some pieces on nil the day after signing day. Jimbo was on pat fordes podcast and was open that tamu took advantage of the new nil landscape. Matt muscona and Jordan culotta have both covered this extensively on their shows.

Texas has been open about their alumni groups offering nil deals.

I've learned that Moscana and Jordy are rarely correct when they claim to have "inside info".

LSU is slower to adapt and adopt things like cars, cell phones, computers, internet, medicine, etc. so NIL is understandably something that the school will lag behind for some time.
