Why wouldn’t Ohio State go after Freeman?

Just kind of thinking out loud here, but if Freeman doesn’t get the ND head job I would think OSU would pursue Freeman and he’d likely choose his alma mater.

Freeman becomes the immediate favorite to coach Cincy if fickell leaves. He would go there as HC before taking a DC job.

There is talk that they are pursuing him for DC. In sure he would take it if he doesn't get a HC position before he comes to LSU.
