It's time to get rid of the weights in compliance who drag our program down...

This might be at the very top of my wishlist. Would fix long term problems.

That happened already with Bo Bahnsen retiring. Compliance is in much better hands today.

Being tough on weed is the dumbest decision LSU ever made.

I hate to condone drug use, but I agree about the weed. Let’s be honest: the vast majority of kids smoke. It’s the safest drug there is, legal in many states and will soon be legal in LA for purchase w/o a prescription.
Like one of my VERY conservative LSU professors said in the late 90’s after the Benjamin Winn/SAE incident: “No one OD’s on pot. Very few get high and go home to beat their wife & kids. Alcohol is the most dangerous drug there is, although I consume it regularly. It’s accepted bc it was brought over in barrels by our Forefathers. Had it been pot in those barrels, alcohol would be illegal.” Idk why I can’t remember breakfast from yesterday but I can remember that so well from 20+ years ago.

Or, the kids could just comply.

It’s a BOS rule, not just compliance. That’s the bigger issue.
