I’ll save you the time. Most of them are popping a cold beer and celebrating tonight.

No need to look. I’m sure they are happy. Cause they haven’t won a championship since the 80’s
I will always have respect for ND
But you can’t get the same type of players there anymore. And without Brian Kelly they will be back to 7-8 wins a year
He’s that good

I'll always remember BK as they guy who could run a good program but never had enough to win the big games. He beat the teams he was supposed to and rarely won the big games. He's going to find it hard in the SEC when every week it is a big game. I think he is going to fail there, just my opinion. Time will tell.

My concern as well, but I realize everybody is excited about BK.

I'm living in South Bend, married to a diehard ND fan whose family has had season tickets since before I met them.

Current reaction locally here is just shock. There is some underlying frustration at the lack of any titles, but some realization that no one is going to win here. They are terrified of slipping back to 7-8 win seasons.

It's definitely not relief, not in her family or in general.

They are more pissed at the administration for not providing the facility upgrades he wants.

They also feel Sullivan's death was an acceptable sacrifice for the legitimate success the last 4 years. If Kelly needed film to win, then he needed the fricking film.
