Injury or not, Patten is not going to be as productive as Meachem and Moore

while i like meachem and moore, what do you have to base this on, 1, 2 games?

I agree that the jury is still out on Meachem, I think Moore has prove himself to have unbelievable hands and he is also an excellent route runner, and by putting Meachem in to the starting lineup now, you give him vauable playing time and can have a big time playmaker in the slot when Colston comes back.

maximus would strongly disagree with you.

Patten is our possesion reciever and vet on the team. When Colston is back its...
1 Colston
2 Moore
3 Patten (3rd down possesion)
4 Meachem
1 Colston
2 Moore
3 Patten (3rd down possesion)
4 Meachem

meachem should start opposite colston ... his speed is sick, colston is the possession wr and meachem the burner and on 3wr sets, patten should come in ,,, just my opinion

What about Devry. All he does is make big plays.

Patten and Devery have to be doing something right to be starting. But, a start at WR really means nothing in the Saints' offensive scheme because of Payton's creativity and Brees's ability to spread the ball around.

Here's the answer.
Everybody on this website of course watches LSU WRs.
TT (Toliver) only has one catch but has been playing in all our games. Why? because he blocks well downfield.
Same thing for Devery he blocks well at wideout.

I can't believe Devery got caught from behind

the next 3 games should determine who starts for the rest of the year. Monday night has a way of weeding out. So far i have liked Meachem's playing over Henderson's. Mainly because in my opinion this is still Meachem's rookie year and he's playing well.
I think Colston and Meachem as #1 and #2 would be the best WR threat in the nfl.

quote:Whoa, killa. Don't be a tard. Though Colston is very good, Meachem is still learning. All we've seen him do is run straight and catch the football. Easy enough...Devery can even do that from time to time.

What's going to have to happen is him making plants, cuts and running crisp routes to get open in the intermediate and short patterns. Until he starts getting the playing time to start doing those things, he's still just a deep threat with very solid hands.
That's not to say they can't develop into a very good tandem. But, not the best in the NFL. Don't forget Harrison/Wayne and Burress/Toomer and Ward/Holmes. Our guys have a lot of work to do before they are that good.

You stalking me around the board?..jesus.
I still stick by it, i think that Colston is just as good if not better than any of the guys you mentioned, and meachem does not seem too afraid to get out there and play Hard as well,..we have seen him come a long way since his preseason of last year.
Not to mention the quarterback that would be throwing them the ball.
