Tridon isn't on Denfense????????
McKenzie to free safety

With the need for a good safety for the last line of denfense, I was windering if anyone else would think this would be a good idea.
When everyone is healthy start Glenn, Poter, harper, and Mckenzie at FS.
The reason i am thinking this is because glenn is still an excellent cover coner, and poter is coming on very strong, then you will still have gay coming in on nickel downs.
The only problem I might see is would we lose to much taking our best DB off the coner, what do yall think.

The rookie is a a talented player and it could give us an option on 3 and 4 to bring him in and let put him into the flats. Altough we don't use many straght I froms, we do use alot of off set I's. Something else that was not metioned in this thread was pass blocking, when Karney is called apon to pick up a Blitz, you never see him miss it, even if it is not alot it is still an intangable that he brings.

What I would do is run a 4-3 over or under depending on his strong side. The next thing you need to do is spread you d-line then make them take an outside rush. Then you need to also spread your linebackers out, to nagate the pitch to devine. This should work and still give you enough of a pass rush to get to the QB on passing downs.

Madden 09 Tips Needed
k.. better tips please
What i do is i usually run a cover 3 no matter what formation i am in. Then take control of you middle linebacker, he will be covering the underneath route so if it is a pass say at home in your zone, more expirenced players could even try to bait a throw to get a pick. Another good thing about running this defense, is that you can also easily come up agianst the run. Another thing i find helpful is the run and pass commit.

better use their first round pic to get a good power back.
I don't think we need to use a first round draft pick to find a replacement for Deuce just yet. There is still some areas that we need to improve on imediately and RB's are usually not that hard to find in the 2nd or 3rd rounds.

5 td's in 4 plus years...2 of which came in one game where he was the forgotten man. He's about as one dimensional of a fullback as there is in the NFL.
My question to you would be who do you want to take TD's away from to give them to Karney. We have the play makers on our team, all Karney needs to do is block, which he does very well, and ocassional catch a ball or two out of the back field. Watching him play you will see he is not only one of the best blocking fullbacks, he also has some of the best hands for a fullback.
Mike Karney is one of the best blocking fullbacks in the NFL. I do agree that most of our big plays come when he is not on the feild, but that is because we are usually in 3 WR sets when these big plays happen. The biggest thing that Mike Kerney brings is going to be helping to clear some holes for Duece in the power run game.

Offense and Defense coming out party
Saints 45
Vikings 6
Saints 45
Vikings 6
I agree that the jury is still out on Meachem, I think Moore has prove himself to have unbelievable hands and he is also an excellent route runner, and by putting Meachem in to the starting lineup now, you give him vauable playing time and can have a big time playmaker in the slot when Colston comes back.
Start Meachem and Moore

Injury or not, Patten is not going to be as productive as Meachem and Moore
Drew Brees is only 29 years old, and the saints have more imediate concerns than finding the hier to Brees, unless a great quartback falls into our laps late in round 1, i don't think we need to do that yet.
