Why are we talking about anyone but Aranda? He is the Head Coach that LSU needs...

Dave Aranada is a no-nonsense, cerebral, level-headed guy who is not going to shoot off at the mouth, carouse, and make hasty decisions (think Bo Pelini). More importantly, he will bring a nasty defense and stability back to our program.

We're not going to get Luke Fickell, Mario Cristobol, Jimbo Fisher, Urban Meyer, or Lincoln Riley (don't want him anyway). For goodness sake, please don't let it be anyone with the surname of Stoops or Kiffin. Woody, please bring in Dave Aranda.

He was 2-7 in a fricked up covid year where he didn't even get spring practice to install his new offensive and defensive systems. Frankly it's a miracle that they weren't blown out every game. I'm willing to ignore that and focus on the fact that this year he's 9-2, beat Oklahoma, and has a good chance of making the Big-12 championship game. So, saying he's a .500 HC is selling him way short.

Dave Aranda would do well here. Then again, pretty much anyone would.

Exactly but too many idiots here don’t understand context.

No one is looking for context. They all just want to hype their favorite and downplay anyone else. All the candidates have some issues, but there seem to be the fewest with Aranda.

Aranda with 3star talent beat UT, and OU that have 4-5 star talent. That shows good coaching, and player development.

You think there are fewer issues with Aranda than Fickell, Napier or Riley? Or coordinators like Elko, Freeman or Briles. Please explain

Just don’t get the Aranda fetish. He’s unproven.

If you lack intelligence you can’t grasp context. Once the poster exposes themselves just move on, not with the dialogue.

I’m an Aranda fan but he did fire his OC after one season. He just doesn’t have the track record yet

The guy has two years experience as a head coach and hasn’t set the world on fire. Just what LSU needs another experiment as head coach and Hope it works out. That’s just stupid. No way in hell you can that take chance on Aranda!!

And if Aranda had been at LSU the last two year people would be saying he’s only in his 2nd year. It takes a few years to install his system, and get the personnel that fit his system.

If LSU was 9-2 under a 2nd year coach I’d be pretty content that things were headed in the right direction.
