What kind of rumor can survive a Feldman whack? I'll tell you what kind. One with legs.

When Feldman said it was over with Freeman, what did we do? We said "Ahh shite it's over"

This time Feldman says it's over? Our guys double down?

That's because this thing has legs baw, and I believe until otherwise told by our wise sages.

Do you know what confirmation bias is? Because this is how you confirmation bias.

Let's say the "smoke" on the board was that someone like Tucker was a done deal, signed and delivered. There were a million threads about Tucker, Tucker, Tucker.

Then someone like Bruce Feldman says "I've heard that Tucker to LSU actually isn't happening after all"

You'd 100% believe him and use him as a solid source (because he is a solid source), simply because he's saying something you WANT to be true.

Feldman is more connected and an infinitely bigger name than any "insider" on the tigerdroppings CC board, but he's being pushed to the side by everyone saying "nah he doesn't know anything" because he's not saying what you want to hear

Why are you so adamant that it's not happening? Two very reliable insiders from the LSU side have independently reported on the story and reiterated post Feldman that nothing has changed. We also know for a fact that Feldman's primary LSU source is the coach that just got fired. It's pretty reasonable to say that the people he heard this from were on the OU side, and they wouldn't know what Lincoln Riley is thinking. Unless you're putting a ton of value on it not being a message board for some reason, it's at least a wash. OU says not happening and LSU says it's happening.
