Just revisited this gem for the first time in about 15 years.

What a badass record.

The whole thing is good, remote control is my favorite.

Anyone loved this album when it was released in 1998?

In their book, they consider it the best album they ever made.

The Beasties were absolutely one of a kind. No other band will every compare. Love them.

Incredible.

As unique as it could possibly get.

All my non-creative mind could come up with that is pig-related. Didn't realize Peppa was a female until after I was fully committed. Oh well.

It didn’t hit me when it came out. I need to revisit though. Thanks for the recommendation!

I’m almost asleep. I’ll listen at the gym tomorrow though. That’s where I do. 99% of my music listening.

I honestly wasn't a big fan of Hello Nasty when it came out, besides Intergalactic.

I've revisited it several times and it has grown on me a ton and I really enjoy it now.

This dropped when I was in high school and I thought it was good but not a great record.

The current me thinks this is a masterpiece.

Hello Nasty was the last BB tour I attended. I loved everything the Beastie boys ever did, but my favorite next to Ill communication really is Check Your Head. The diversity throughout that recording is more evident of the three's overall contributions. It was, without question, the best tour they ran of all of their releases. The funk was so powerful, it was impossible to ignore. Truly their prime and worthy of the description, the "3 funkiest white boys, ever".

After that one, the rest of thr albums weren't as good. Unless you count The Get Down, but that's not their usual sound.

3 Mcs and One dj is my fave on that one. The video is soo fun.
